"I'm not like other girls"

Oh, really? Here's a list of why it doesn't matter.

Natural girls are amazing/beauty gurus are amazing. Thick girls are amazing/skinny girls are amazing. Cute girls are amazing/Sexy girls are amazing. Shy girls are amazing/Confident girls are amazing. Dark girls are amazing/Light girls are amazing. Intellectuals are amazing/Non-intellectuals are amazing. Sporty girls are amazing/Artsy girls are amazing. Black is amazing/Pink is amazing. Chucks are amazing/Heels are amazing. Jeans are amazing/Dresses are amazing. Career women are amazing/Housewives are amazing. Tough women are amazing/Soft women are amazing.
It's possible to uplift one group without putting down another.

This is a formal apology to Barbie™, regarding the harsh statements stated about her in posts below. It occured to me, that in my well-intentioned ideals, I implied that women can't love both makeup and mathematics. That there was a right (better) way to female. Which is the exact idea I accused her of promoting.

The goal of feminism isn't to adopt more masculine qualities in order to equal males.
But to be taken seriously as we are... whatever form that may take. For our vulnerability to be valued just as much as physical strength. That we can still conquer the world in a pink dress just as well as you can in combat boots.

We women can woman however we so choose: softly, boldly, brightly, manly
Being equal never meant being the same.
